We model and design materials at the nanoscale with a focus on their structural evolution and transformations, nanothermodynamics, formation process. We apply numerical tools to elucidate the structure-property relationship and how shape of individual and assembled structures influences their catalytic, magnetic, optical properties.
We are based at the Physics Department, University di Milano and at the Physics Dept., King’s College London (UK). We collaborate with the ETSF group based in San Sebastian (Spain), and the nano alloy community in EU (see nanoalloy)
